Contract Information
Deposit Contract
North Woods Bulldogs – Deposit Contract
*A $500 deposit is required to hold your choice of available picks from our PLANNED BREEDINGS.
*This deposit is NOT refundable for any reason other than those stated in this contract. Although, the Buyer may transfer to another waiting list or this deposit may be applied towards a puppy from a different litter if available at that time.
*Buyer understands that some litters may not take or there may not be enough of a certain sex to accommodate the full waiting list.
*If the breeding does not take it will be repeated on the next heat cycle. If the Seller chooses not to repeat the breeding the Buyer will be given the option of a refund of deposit or they may transfer to another breeding.
*If there are not enough of a certain sex available in chosen breeding Buyer understands that their deposit is transferable to another breeding. If the Buyer has transferred to a different breeding four times and their chosen sex and pick has not be available the Seller agrees to refund deposit amount of $500 or the Buyer may transfer to another breeding/available pup if they choose too. If the buyer has backed out of their pick puppy previously, the deposit will not be refunded at any time, but can still be transferred.
~ Buyer understands the picks are made in the order by which the deposits are received. The Buyer is not entitled to a refund of any monies paid if the person who has a higher pick than them (including the breeder/Seller) chooses the puppy the Buyer preferred. Buyer agrees to select a puppy from those that are available at their turn. If the Buyer chooses not to select a puppy from those that are available they may transfer their deposit to another litter or puppy if available at that time. Seller cannot guarantee same pick will be available on any future litters.
~Buyer understands that the Seller cannot guarantee any specific color (unless DNA combination specifies a certain color is inevitable), color pattern, or amount of color will be available in each litter. The Buyer is not entitled to a refund of any monies paid if they do not want any of the pups available at their pick because of a certain color or lack thereof. If the Buyer chooses not to select a puppy from those that are available they may transfer their deposit to another litter or puppy if available at that time.
~ The waiting list guarantees the Buyer’s place in line to choose a puppy from those that are available for reservation after the Seller has made their pick(s).
~ This $500 deposit shall be applied toward the final purchase amount.
~ Buyer understands that the Seller reserves the right to first pick(s) from all litters. Available pups to choose from will be all remaining pups AFTER Seller selects their keeper(s). If the Seller does not keep back 1st pick male or female the waiting list will automatically be moved up one pick for that sex.
~ Buyer agrees that they have read through North Woods Bulldogs Contract and 1 year Limited Health Guarantee prior to sending this deposit. Buyer will be required to complete and sign this Guarantee at the time they choose their puppy to reserve.
~ Buyer understands that the Seller has the right to cancel this contract for any reason at any time. If Seller chooses to cancel the sale the Buyer’s deposit will be refunded.
Puppy Contract & One Year Health Guarantee
PLEASE NOTE:
Breeder reserves the right to first choice on all litters.
Pups are not available to reserve until AFTER we have made our pick(s). At that time pups will be priced accordingly and will be available for reservation. This is generally at 5/6 weeks of age.
~ Puppies that are priced up to $10,000 require a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 to hold your pick.
~ Puppies that are priced over $10,000 require a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 to hold your pick.
~ Buyer is fully aware that deposits are non-refundable for any reason other than those stated in this agreement.
~ Deposit must be received within 24 hours from the time a pup is requested to be reserved or the pup will be available to the next buyer in line. Deposit may be sent by Walmart to Walmart, Western Union, PayPal (friends and family option only), bank transfer, Venmo, or Facebook Pay. ***Deposit may be sent by Money Order if Buyer provides photo proof of money order with Seller's name on it. Money Order must also be sent by overnight delivery with a tracking number.
~ Remaining balance is due in full by 8 weeks of age OR at the time of pickup/delivery. (Balance on delivery is only if we are able to personally deliver your puppy. If we are sending our puppy nanny the balance will be due at 8 weeks of age).
~ Shipping fees, if needed, are due at 8 weeks of age. Hand delivery of your pup to most U.S. locations in the lower 48 states will be $500. For Hawaii, Alaska or locations outside of the U.S. we will need to contact our puppy nanny for a price quote.
~ Buyer understands that if shipping is needed we, the Seller, will make arrangements to fly ourselves or send one of our personal trusted puppy nannies only. We do this to make sure our puppies are cared for properly during travel and delivered safely. Due to several problems with previous puppy nannies hired by our Buyer's we now STRICTLY enforce this policy.
***We do not ship our pups by air cargo. We will hand deliver our pups or use one of our trusted puppy nannies if we are unable to make arrangements to fly at that specific time. If the Buyer chooses, they may pick up their pup in person.
~Most of our puppies will be ready to go between 9-10 weeks of age but if we, the Seller, feel it is in the best interest of the puppy to keep them a few extra weeks we will notify the Buyer as soon as we have made that decision. We prefer not to let puppies under 4 lbs leave until they have at least reached that weight. We also want to make sure our puppies are weaned well enough to eat at least soaked kibble before they leave. We try to keep our pups with mom as long as possible. By doing this sometimes they do not transition on to solid food as fast. Especially if mom is loaded with milk.
~The puppy is to be picked up or shipped by 12 weeks of age.
~If the Buyer is unable to meet for delivery or pickup their pup by 12 weeks of age the Buyer agrees to pay a boarding fee of $10 PER DAY that the puppy remains in the Seller's possession beyond 12 weeks of age to cover care and expenses of said puppy, up to 30 days. If the Buyer fails to pay for shipping, meet for delivery, or pickup said puppy after 30 days of boarding the Buyer agrees to forfeit their deposit and said puppy may then be resold by the Seller. UNLESS we, the Seller, are holding the puppy back to make sure it has reached at least 4lbs and/or is fully weaned and thriving. If this is the case then no boarding fees or forfeit of deposit will be imposed.
EXCEPTION: Puppies needing transport to most non-US locations cannot be shipped before 16 weeks of age. For puppies being shipped to non-US locations an agreed upon boarding fee will be added to the cost of the puppy. This fee will based upon the length of time the puppy is to be cared for, USDA requirements needed for export, and vet expenses.
IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY BOTH PARTIES THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL BE MET AND THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
~ Buyer understands that by sending a deposit to hold a puppy for purchase you are agreeing to all the terms here within and are bound by this agreement with the Seller.
~ Buyer understands that any puppy being purchased as a pet (non-show/non-breeding price) will be sold under a spay/neuter contract and no AKC limited registration papers will be provided to the Buyer until AFTER proof of spay/neuter has been provided by the Buyer to the Seller. Buyer will have 12 months from the date of sale to complete spay/neuter and provide proof to the Seller or Buyer will forfeit all rights to their limited registration papers.
***Spay/Neuter contract will be provided in addition to this contract for pups being sold with Limited Registration***
~Seller guarantees that the French or English Bulldog puppy being sold is the offspring of the listed Sire and Dam.
~ Said puppy will be current on deworming's appropriate to the age of the puppy when it leaves possession of the Seller. *Please note that we follow a vaccine protocol based on studies done by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and scientifically based studies regarding PROPER vaccine protocol. We do not vaccinate our pups prior to 18 weeks of age.
Our RECOMMENDED vaccination guideline is as follows: Parvo, with a Neopar vaccine after 18 weeks, then Distemper/Parvo combo at 1 year of age and rabies given at least 30 days AFTER the combo vaccine. Then only re-vaccinate as adults following a titer test for immunity every 3 years, if needed.
~ ALL BUYERS MUST READ our vaccine protocol about why we wait to vaccinate. Please visit our REQUIRED READING page on this site under "OUR VACCINE PROTOCOL."
~ Buyer confirms that they have read through the REQUIRED reading page on "OUR VACCINE PROTOCOL" and all links listed in association with our protocol and the Buyer understands why we have chosen to follow this protocol based on the information provided.
~ Seller will vaccinate said pup at the Buyer's request as long as the Buyer understands that any vaccines given prior to 18 weeks of age will VOID the Health Guarantee. This includes pups being shipped to Canada or Countries where the rabies vaccine is required prior to shipping. ***This is because they require the rabies be given at 12 weeks of age*** Buyer will be required to sign a notarized form stating their desire to have said puppy vaccinated and that they are willing to assume all risks involved with vaccination and any illness/injury caused to said puppy by giving these vaccinations. This form will also state that you, the Buyer, willing choose to VOID your health guarantee at the time the vaccine is administered. If said pup should become sick or die as a result of vaccination there is no refund or replacement offered by the Seller.
~ Buyer certifies that he/she is not acting as an agent (broker) for another individual in the purchase of this puppy, and will not sell this puppy to any mass-producing kennel (puppy mill) or business.
~ Buyer promises to keep the puppy in a proper manner and provide appropriate care and socialization. Said puppy shall not be kept permanently in a crate or in a small confined area where it is unable to achieve proper exercise and socialization needed for the health and well being of said puppy.
~ Buyer agrees to NEVER surrender said puppy to any shelter or rescue. If the Buyer is unable to keep said puppy for any reason the Seller is to be notified immediately so that we may make arrangements to get them back. Under a surrender situation the Buyer is not entitled to any monetary compensation. We will pay for transport of the puppy back to us. The Buyer will not be responsible to repay any transport fees. Once the dog is surrendered to us, North Woods Bulldogs, all rights to that dog are relinquished by the Buyer.
~ Buyer understands that breeding rights for 3 stud services may be retained on SOME males sold with FULL REGISTRATION.
***This will be disclosed by the Seller at time of inquiry by the Buyer if that specific male will have rights retained by the Seller.***
~ If we choose to use the male as a part of our program all fees associated with collection, shipping of semen, and any breeding costs will be paid by Nichole Heller of North Woods Bulldogs. Buyer understands that the 2 breeding's may be used or sold by us, North Woods Bulldogs, at our discretion and any fees associated with collection and shipping will be paid by us or the party we sold the breeding to.
One Year Limited Health Guarantee
The word "limited" is used because there are conditions that are very common to the French Bulldog that are not covered by this guarantee.
"Before I committed to being a breeder of French Bulldogs, I spent years researching and finding out all the information about them that I could and after all of my research I decided I was willing to accept and assume all of the expense and medical risks associated with owning them. I have purchased and owned several that have either not grown into what I prefer to have in my breeding program or they weren't as healthy as I would have liked them to be, to be considered breedable. This is an assumed risk with owning this breed. I have made it my priority to only breed the healthiest and best quality dogs possible but that still does not mean I can eliminate all the common issues within the breed. Even if you do not plan to breed, as a pet owner you must be fully aware that despite our best efforts to produce only the healthiest puppies through selective breeding and long term evaluations that we cannot prevent all defects from popping up. You as a Buyer must be fully prepared to endure the long term care and possible vet expenses that come with owning these wonderful and truly unique little dogs."
~ Buyer declares that they have done their research on the breed they have chosen and are fully aware of the health risks associated with this breed as well as training and housing requirements.
~Buyer understands that French and English bulldogs are extremely sensitive to heat and extreme cold and are meant to be INDOOR dogs only. All precautions should be taken to protect them during outings in hot or extreme cold weather. Any outside temperatures over 70 degrees, especially in humid climates, can be deadly to your French or English bulldog. Heat stroke can happen in MINUTES!
~ Buyer understands and is fully aware that NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON other than those stated in this agreement.
~ Seller guarantees said puppy being purchased, until their 1st birthday, is free from any LIFE THREATENING congenital defects:
1. Only LIFE THREATENING CONGENITAL/HEREDITARY defects are eligible for replacement. Buyer understand that French bulldogs are a dwarf breed and because of this there are many structural and physical abnormalities that can arise with age. Therefore; only conditions which result in death or require euthanasia will be covered for replacement.
2. ***severe spinal abnormalities*** Most French bulldogs have at least one hemi vertebrae, if not more. Replacements for spinal issues will be discussed on a case by case basis considering the quality of life of your dog, the opinion of your vet and whether surgery or euthanasia is necessary. (Please do not let your dog jump from high surfaces, as this can increase the chances of a ‘normal’ hemi vertebrate becoming problematic). Hemi vertebrae found in routine xray that are not currently problematic will NOT be considered for replacement.
3.This guarantee does not apply to afflictions that are considered to be common and generally treatable among the French Bulldog breed. These include but are not limited to: Intestinal parasites (any kind of worms, Giardia, Coccidiosis etc), cherry eye, entropion, allergies (including skin), stenotic nares (collapsed nostrils), autoimmune disorders, loose hips, elongated soft palate, any type of mange, deafness, kennel cough, ear or skin mites, small trachea, luxated patellas (grade 1-3) or hernias. If a hernia appears before shipment or delivery of puppy Breeder will offer a full refund of deposit or Buyer may choose to keep said puppy and a discount of $200 will be offered to offset the cost of reapair during spay/neuter. Any hernias that do not appear until after Purchaser has received the puppy will not be covered under this warranty as they are non-life threatening and will become the Purchaser’s sole responsibility to have hernia repaired at the Purchaser’s expense.
Buyer understands that a second opinion from another vet will be required, at the Buyer’s expense, to confirm any conditions that may warrant a replacement.
~Buyer agrees to NEVER use any BANFIELD VETERINARY HOSPITALS for any routine or emergency care of said puppy. If Buyer fails to comply the Limited Health Guarantee will be VOID!
Buyer understands that the following conditions are very common within the French bulldog breed and are NOT considered life threatening and are not covered under the Guarantee:
•Brachycephalic syndrome (breathing difficulties)
* Intestinal parasites of any kind
•Pinched nares
•Stenotic nares
•Collapsed nostrils
•Elongated Soft Palate
•tracheal hypoplasia (narrow trachea)
•Snoring (especially when overweight)
•Overheating/heat stroke (especially when overweight)
•poop eating (as gross as it sounds it is very common in bulldogs)
•Entropion (in-turned eyelids)
•Ectropian (turned out/loose droopy eyelids)
* Visible hawes/wall eyes
•Cherry Eye
•inverted/redundant vulvas
•luxating patellas are NOT covered

•knuckling over (this is a diet related condition)
•kinked, crooked, or inverted tails
•tail pockets
•hot spots (English bulldogs are particularly prone to these)
•interdigital cysts
•yeast infections
•ear infections due to yeast or allergies
•under bites
•wry jaw
•pigeon chest
•crooked teeth
•excessive shedding
•demodex (this is very easily treated with a dose of bravecto and does not affect the health of the dog in any way)
•difficulties in house/crate training (it is not uncommon to take up to a year or longer to fully house/crate train a French or English bulldog).
•Skin issues such as dry flakey skin (in most cases this can be fixed with a change in diet and adding supplements like coconut oil to their diet and less bathing).
•Allergies (in most cases allergies are related to certain foods and can be alleviated with a change in diet and some are environmental. It is not uncommon to have seasonal grass, weed, and pollen allergies).
~ Should this puppy be found to have a life threatening congenital/hereditary defect, as listed above, by said puppy’s 1st birthday, the following guidelines are set in place:
If the quality of life of said puppy is severely affected the Seller asks that the puppy be humanely euthanized by a veterinarian and that a written and conclusive diagnosis stating the reason for the euthanasia and a description of the puppy along with the registration papers be returned to the Seller before a replacement puppy will be offered, IF WARRANTED per this agreement.
~ If the quality of life of said puppy is not severely affected but still requires medical treatment and care to keep said puppy alive and the Buyer is willing to take on the burden of expenses and they wish to keep the puppy they may do so. If the Buyer chooses to keep the puppy the Buyer must spay/neuter the puppy and documentation of this by a veterinarian along with a written conclusive diagnosis and the registration papers must be returned to the Seller in order to receive a purchase credit. If the affected puppy is kept by the Buyer they will have the option to purchase another puppy with a credit of 1/2 of their original purchase price towards another puppy of the same value. Seller is not responsible for reimbursement of any medical expenses resulting from the ongoing care of said pup.
~ Euthanasia for injury or any viral/blood born illnesses such as - pneumonia of any kind, parvo, distemper, lyme disease, leptospirosis, snake bites, spider bites, scorpion stings, bee/wasp/hornet stings or any other contracted illnesses that requires euthanasia is NOT COVERED for replacement.
~ In the case of sudden/unexpected death a necropsy must be performed, at the Buyer's expense, and a written and conclusive diagnosis stating that the cause of death is related to a congenital/hereditary defect as listed above must be returned along with a copy of the necropsy report and the registration papers before a replacement puppy will be offered. A speculative/inconclusive or diagnosis of exclusion WILL NOT warrant a replacement puppy from the Seller. No Exceptions! Shipping costs/transportation for a replacement puppy are the responsibility of the Buyer.
~ Buyer understands and agrees that the Seller is not responsible for any veterinary medical expenses incurred by the Buyer once said puppy has left possession of the Seller.
~ Seller reserves the right to verify any information provided by the Buyer with the Buyer's vet. Failure to comply with the Seller’s request to be provided medical records, veterinary contact information, etc., within 3 days will VOID YOUR HEALTH GUARANTEE and any right to a replacement.
~Any puppy purchased with FULL REGISTRATION, that is suspected to be deaf by the Buyer must be taken into an experienced veterinarian or specialist who can perform a BAER test, at the Buyer's expense.
(Puppies sold with limited registration as pets are not covered under this section of the agreement)
If said puppy should be found to be partially or fully deaf, the puppy may, upon a written and conclusive diagnosis and a description of the puppy in question from a veterinarian, be returned to the Seller for another puppy of equal value when one is available. Return shipping/transportation are the responsibility of the Buyer. Shipping costs/transportation for a replacement puppy are also the responsibility of the Buyer. If the Buyer chooses to keep the puppy the Buyer must spay/neuter the puppy and documentation of this by a veterinarian along with a written conclusive diagnosis and the registration papers must be returned to the Seller. If the affected puppy is kept by the Buyer they will have the option to purchase another puppy with a credit of 1/2 of their original purchase price towards another puppy of the same value. Credit must be used within 24 months from the time a replacement was warranted.
~Buyer understands that MOST French bulldogs cannot swim and all precautions must be taken to insure the safety of your bulldog. Anytime activities with your bulldog will include bodies of water or swimming pools the Seller HIGHLY ADVISES using a life vest! Better safe than sorry!
~Buyer understands that the Seller makes no guarantee that they will be able to show or breed the puppy as an adult regardless of show or breeding potential visually perceived as a puppy. We do our best to produce dogs that are showable and breedable, but no one can predict how any puppy will mature. No refunds or replacements are offered for dogs that don’t fit the Buyer’s expectations at maturity or are unable to reproduce as this can be due to many factors including: diet, stress, vaccinations, injury, bacterial infections such as strep or pyometra, contracted sexual diseases such as brucellosis etc..
~If said puppy that Buyer has reserved should become ill, injured or die prior to leaving the Seller the Buyer will be offered a full refund of their deposit OR they may transfer their deposit to a future litter or another puppy if one is available. If Buyer chooses to transfer their deposit it will become non-refundable again except for reasons listed in this agreement.
~ At the expense of the Buyer, this puppy should be examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours of possession to VALIDATE the 1 year Limited Health Guarantee. This means if your regular vet is unable to see you you MUST see another vet in that time period or your guarantee is VOID. Proof of the Health Exam (a receipt for office exam will suffice) from the Buyer's veterinarian dated no more than 48 hours from the time said puppy left possession of the Seller MUST be emailed/mailed to the Seller immediately following the exam or the Guarantee is VOID.
If a copy of the Health Exam is not received within 14 days of the date said puppy left the Seller's possession this Health Guarantee is VOID.
~ Should said puppy be found to be in ill health during the veterinarian exam, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Seller, the puppy may be returned to the Seller for another puppy of equal value when one is available. Shipping costs/transportation for a replacement puppy are the responsibility of the Buyer.
~ Buyer understands that a puppy is a baby and that sometimes he/she may get sick due to stress or changes in environment. He/She is leaving our home and entering a new environment and stress related symptoms/illnesses may occur. Soft or loose stools and lack of appetite are very common during the first week for a puppy in a new home. Especially if the Buyer chooses to change over to a new food. This can cause your new puppy to have loose stools until their system adapts to the new diet. Which is why we, the Seller, suggest you the Buyer continue to feed the diet your puppy was weaned onto. Once they adjust and settle in these things usually resolve themselves on their own.
~ Buyer understands that once the puppy leaves the Seller's possession there are some common conditions that can affect puppies and are NOT COVERED under this guarantee. Coccidiosis (Coccidia), giardia, and kennel cough (upper respiratory virus) are not covered under this guarantee, all of which can be common in puppies and are not life threatening and are easily treated. Seller HIGHLY recommends you (the Buyer) do NOT place your puppy on the ground in public places until their immune system is better developed after 18 weeks of age. We also HIGHLY recommend you do NOT visit dog parks/doggie day cares. These are breeding grounds for disease and illness even for vaccinated adult dogs!
~ Coccidiosis AKA coccidia is a parasite that is commonly found in the intestinal tract of most dogs and can present itself when the pup is under stress from changes in environment and the immune system cannot suppress the parasites any longer. Coccidiosis is usually picked up through ingestion of feces by intentionally eating it or through water contaminated by feces. Some puppies like to eat it or "try" it. As much as we strive to keep their living area as clean as possible and pick up messes as quickly as possible we cannot prevent them from this yucky behavior 100% of the time. After all, much like you, we do sleep at night. Birds are common carriers of coccidia so it is a parasite that is highly unavoidable. Coccidia usually will not show up on a fecal exam until the puppy breaks with watery stool which is why it is often missed in routine fecal checks. It is easily treated by your vet with Rx Albon; OR Toltrazuril which can be ordered online with no prescription. Dosage for Toltrazuril is 1 ml per 5 lbs of body weight given once daily for 5 days. ***Please note we treat for coccidia preventatively while your puppy is in our possession.
~ Giardia is a parasite that is most commonly found in water, especially in standing water like puddles, lakes, or areas where water collects and does not dry up. It is also found in the feces of infected animals and is very common in bird poop. Giradia is not species specific (zoonotic). Which means your pup can come into contact with it very easily. Many dogs have giardia with no symptoms and some will have intermittent bouts with diarrhea and in severe cases can have bloody stools. Giardia is treated by your vet with a simple 10 day course of medication, most commonly used is a combination of fenbendazole (panacur) and metronidazole.
To date we have never had giardia in any of our dogs.
~ Upper respiratory viruses are self-limiting (like the common cold), full recovery is expected within 14-21 days on its own and is not life threatening. The only time an antibiotic should prescribed for is for confirmed kennel cough if it is associated with a colored nasal discharge (this is a secondary bronchi infection).
~ We (the Seller) will NEVER let a puppy that is ill or that has been exposed to another dog/pup that is ill leave our possession. If any puppy appears to be in less than excellent health the Buyer will be notified immediately and given the option of a refund of deposit or if the Buyer chooses we will keep the puppy in our care and pay for all necessary treatment until a clean bill of health is given by our vet and then the Buyer may take possession of the puppy.
***All of our pups are raised in a clean and sterile environment with access to fresh and clean water at all times. We do take every precaution to prevent any contagious illnesses from entering our home.
This is the #1 reason we do not allow in home visits of our puppies.
***The Buyer should be aware that puppy behaviors such as eating their own feces or other dogs' feces can lead to bacteria entering their system and Coccidiosis and/or giardia is a common result of this behavior in young puppies.
~ Seller guarantees that any male pup sold with Full Registration, for the purpose of being bred will have two descended testicles. If said puppy purchased by the Buyer does not have two descended testicles the Seller will offer a replacement puppy of equal value, when one is available. The Buyer MUST return the original puppy to the Seller in order to receive a replacement, no exceptions. Return shipping/transportation are the responsibility of the Buyer. Shipping costs/transportation for a replacement puppy are also the responsibility of the Buyer.
~ Buyer understands that there MUST BE A SPECIFIC AND CONCLUSIVE DIAGNOSIS in writing from the Buyer's veterinarian before a replacement puppy will be offered for any life threatening congenital/hereditary defect. A speculative/inconclusive or diagnosis of exclusion WILL NOT warrant a replacement puppy from the Seller. No Exceptions!
~ If the Buyer is owed a replacement they must take their replacement within 24 months from the time the replacement was warranted. After 24 months the Buyer forfeits their right to a replacement.
~ BUYER UNDERSTANDS THAT ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE SELLER FOR A REPLACEMENT PUPPY WILL BE VERIFIED! WE WILL HAVE OUR VET CONTACT YOUR VET TO DISCUSS THEIR FINDINGS.
~Buyer agrees to authorize the release of said puppy's medical records to the Seller and the Seller's veterinarian for the purpose of review should a replacement puppy be requested or potentially warranted within 72 hours of notifying the Seller of a problem. Failure to provide all medical records regarding said puppy within 72 hours of diagnosis will VOID Buyer's right to a replacement.
THE AGREEMENT IS VOID IF…
If we, the Seller, find out that we were lied to in any way in regards to the purchase of said puppy AFTER it has left our possession your health guarantee will be VOID. If full registration papers were included in the purchase of said puppy we will notify the AKC of your purchase under fraudulent conditions.
~ If we, the Seller, find out that we were lied to in any way in regards to the purchase of said puppy BEFORE it leaves our possession the Buyer will forfeit any monies paid to the Seller and we will no longer do business with you. Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy! Buyer agrees to be 100% truthful in all regards of the purchase of this puppy. Including, if the puppy is being purchased as a “gift” for someone else. This contract is non-transferable and applies ONLY to the original party listed in this contract as “Buyer.”
~ If the Buyer vaccinates the pup prior to 18 weeks of age or any leptospirosis vaccine is given at any time the Guarantee is VOID.
~ If the Buyer breeds said puppy before 1 year of age this contract is VOID. This includes studding out of males.
~ Any violation of the terms of this Contract will VOID the Guarantee.
~ The contract shall become null and void if said puppy is taken to any Banfield Pet Hospital, no exceptions. Get references and do your research when looking for your vet.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
~ Seller reserves the right to cancel the sale of said puppy at any time for any reason. If the Seller chooses not to sell said puppy all monies paid including deposit will be returned to the Buyer, UNLESS; the reason we choose to cancel the sale is due to falsified information provided by the Buyer before said puppy leaves our possession then you will forfeit all monies paid and we will no longer do business with you.
Buyer understands that this agreement is non-transferable. All terms regarding said puppy made between Buyer and Seller apply ONLY to the original listed parties in this agreement. Therefore the Health Guarantee is non-transferable if Buyer decides to sell,
trade, co-own, or give away said puppy as a gift. Even if the original party buys or takes back said puppy before their 1st birthday. Once said puppy leaves possession of the original Buyer this contract is null and void.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR YOUR NEW PUPPY
~We strongly advise that your puppy is NOT encouraged to run up and down stairs or jump onto and off of furniture. This can cause adverse effects to the growth plates and undeveloped joints of a growing puppy and can injure their spine very easily.
~ Dysplasia can be caused by environmental factors. Meaning; through repeated trauma to undeveloped joints and growth plates in a growing puppy early onset of dysplasia can be caused as a result of injury. It is very important to prevent injury to your puppy from rough play and jumping out of vehicles and onto and off of furniture. Running down stairs is not healthy for your pups elbows, shoulders or spine, either.
~ DO NOT have your puppy retrieve toys or run on vinyl, tile, wood, or ceramic floors where their feet can slide out from under them. This can cause injury to the ligaments and joints in your puppy's legs as well as injuries from slipping and falling.
~ We HIGHLY recommend that your new puppy is not placed on the ground in public places before their immune system is strong enough, this is typically around 18 + weeks. We also HIGHLY recommend you avoid dog parks and doggie day cares for the life of your dog. As fun as these places may seem they are just a large breeding ground for disease and illness.
North Woods Bulldogs Spay/Neuter Agreement
Buyer understands that receiving their AKC Limited Registration of said puppy is contingent upon your compliance with this Agreement.
It is the responsibility of the Buyer, not the veterinarian, to ensure that North Woods Bulldogs has received verification that the surgery has been performed. Failure to comply with this agreement by the date below, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, will be considered a breach of this contract. Buyer fully understands that this breach of contract will result in a VOID of the health guarantee as well as not receiving any AKC Limited Registration papers.
Buyer must provide proof of spay/neuter to the Seller within seven (7) days of the surgery being completed. Failure to comply will result in Buyer’s forfeiting their right to receive Limited AKC Registration papers and VOID of the Health Guarantee for said puppy.
Buyer agrees that the Seller has the right to contact the veterinarian listed on the proof of spay/neuter to verify the procedure was completed if the Seller has any questions regarding the procedure.
Buyer agrees to have said puppy spayed/neutered no later than 12 months of age (date of 1st birthday) and Buyer understands that this spay/neuter agreement is an agreement that this dog will not produce a litter of puppies either as purposely bred or by accidental breeding before that time.
Buyer understand that if they sell, trade, co-own, or give away as a gift said puppy before fulfilling the terms of this contract the health guarantee and right to receive AKC Limited Registration papers will be NULL and VOID. All terms regarding said puppy made between Buyer and Seller only apply to the original listed party in this agreement. Therefore the Health Guarantee and AKC Limited Registration is non-transferable. Even if the original party buys or takes back said puppy before their 1st birthday. Once said puppy leaves possession of the original Buyer this contract is null and void.
Seller agrees to provide the Buyer with AKC Limited Registration papers following proof of spay/neuter and verification of surgery with the Buyer’s vet.
